Compostable Sugarcane Straws FAQs

What are the environmental benefits of compostable bags?

Recycled Materials|Our straws are made from sugarcane fiber sourced from local sugarcane factories in Taiwan, effectively recycling agricultural waste and reducing reliance on new resources.
Compostable|We use plant-based materials that are free from plastic, PFAS, and PLA, naturally breaking down without harmful residues. Our straws are certified as Home and Industrial Compostable, ensuring a genuinely sustainable option.
Lower Carbon Footprint|We will calculate and test the product’s carbon footprint by BSI to ensure minimal environmental impact, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting a low-carbon future.

What are compostable sugarcane bags made of ?

By sourcing and recycling local sugarcane bagasse, we minimize transportation emissions. The compostable bags manufacturing process begins with cleaning, drying, and grinding the bagasse into thermoplastic fibers using our patented technology. These fibers are then pelletized for efficient processing. Through advanced blow molding, the pellets are transformed into durable compostable bags. Each item undergoes strict quality checks before packaging and shipping.

Does your compostable bags have any certifications or testing?

Yes, our compostable bags are certified and tested to meet several international standards:
Compostable Certification|Our compostable bags meet regulations in Europe, the US, and Australia/New Zealand. They are suitable for both home and industrial composting and have passed OK compost HOME – TÜV AUSTRIA certifications.
Food Contact Test Report|Approved by and compliant with EU 10/2011, ensuring our bags meet safety standards for food use.
Material Test Report|Free from gluten, ensuring our bags are free from harmful substances and meet stringent safety standards.

Are your compostable sugarcane bags supply chain stable, and what is the lead time for orders?

Our compostable bags, made in Taiwan, have a lead time of 45-60 days. We use recycled local sugarcane bagasse and local production facilities to minimize transport time, optimize energy use, and reduce logistical risks. For personalized support, please visit our contact page, provide your contact information and sample requirements, and our sales team will assist you promptly.

How durable is the compostable sugarcane bag, and how should I store it?

These bags are water and oil-resistant on both sides and can withstand heat up to 60°C. For optimal performance, store them in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Be sure to use them before the expiration date to prevent any premature degradation.
